How does ELOS technology work?
- For hair removal, conducted RF energy selectively targets the hair follicle and bulge. Light is absorbed by the hair shaft and the hair follicle is destroyed. It is used in the treatment of ALL colors of hair -- even white, blonde, red, gray and fine "peach fuzz" hair.
- For skin rejuvenation, light affects pigment and hemoglobin; conducted RF affects hemoglobin and collagen. It is the safest, most effective and comfortable skin rejuvenation technology available.
- With all aesthetic treatments, cooling protects epidermis from overheating.
GENTLELASE
For hair removal and vein therapy
The GentleLASE is a revolutionary long-pulse high energy alexandrite laser that emits a gentle beam of light that passes through the skin to the hair follicle where it is absorbed. The laser energy is transformed into heat, which destroys the hair follicle leaving the surrounding skin unaffected. The skin is protected during treatment by a Dynamic Cooling Device™ where cryogen is sprayed onto the skin, cooling the upper layers and providing patients with increased comfort.
For vein therapy, light energy is delivered and absorbed by the target vein, causing thermocoagulation of the blood vessel. The heated vessel walls collapse and adhere together. The bloodless vessel is subsequently absorbed by your body.
