Oculoplastic surgery is plastic and reconstructive surgery of the eye. It changes the structure and function of the lids, the tear duct system and the eye socket. The most common conditions treated with oculoplastic surgery are loose, droopy or baggy eyelids, tear duct blockages, and eyelid damage from injuries. Oculoplastic surgery can be performed either with a conventional incision or with a laser.
